A time to make friends (German official slogan: ''Die Welt zu Gast bei Freunden'') was the official slogan of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, which was held from June 9 to July 9, 2006 in Germany. Invented by Austrian artist André Heller, the slogan was presented on November 19, 2002 in the FIFA Stadium Gelsenkirchen.
